On the lower shelf of showcase no. 5 we placed a small selection of different kinds of wood, from both Denmark and abroad. Half of the wood blocks was just sanded, while the other half was both sanded and treated with oil, in order to show the different appearance. As can be seen in the picture, we also placed an ordinary piece of plywood on this shelf, and this clearly shows that an interesting effect can be obtained from an ordinary piece of wood.
